Video Blog: Our Hot List of Viral Web Video

Music and Life?

What happens when you take a famed philosopher specializing in Eastern religions and mash him up with 'South Park'? All good things naturally. Take a look at this short Alan Watts recording as presented by Trey Parker and Matt Stone of 'South Park' fame with their cartoons drawing it out for you. Watch another of these delightful little animations here.

'Hamster Ball' Swimming Craze

Ever feel like a hamster running in a ball but getting nowhere? Well, apparently it's now the cool thing to do -- at least when you are in on a pool. It isn't as easy as it looks though. Just look at that reporter. We can only imagine 100 kids in bubbles running around on the pool. Sounds like a nightmare we had once.

Who Needs a Movie?

We don't need a movie, but even if we did, we won't be hiring these two guys to do the job. During our practice as videologists, we've seen all kinds of bad editing jobs, but this video ad tops them all. Or maybe Fred and Sharon intentionally made their 'commercial' to look so bad just to generate some viral buzz and sell more crappy videos on their web site. What do you think?

Faux Britney as Good as Real Britney?

Fake Britney

Because we know you've had it up to here with the real Britney Spears, here's a fake one fooling paparazzi as a stunt for an Australian radio show. A glimpse of those golden locks, which are probably more real than Brit's, is enough to send cameras clicking and passers-by into a tizzy.

The Freeze Comes to London

As a sequel to the Great Grand Central Station Freeze, some enterprising Brits did the same thing in Trafalgar Square in London. We love mass 'movements' here at the video blog. Get it? Anyway, maybe we need a mass international freeze and then those in the know can freak people out all around the world.

    Hillary and the Band
You probably didn't know this -- but Hillary Clinton can shred. That is, if you believe this video -- created by her campaign -- which recounts her past as a member of a once-glorious rock band, in the style of 'Behind the Music.'Watch it now.

    Richard Scarry 'Sure Shot'
The animated animal population of Busytown -- you remember them from your childhood, right -- rap, altogether convincingly, to the Beastie Boys' 'Sure Shot.' For some reason, every version we can find of this clip has 20 seconds of dead air at the end -- there's no surprise, just stop watching.Watch itnow.
