Now we're not saying this is totally cruel - this cat may really love open doors on airplanes, heights, plummeting to the earth and being strapped to his owner's stomach - but we're just going to observe that the whole experience must have been really strange for that cat's little, little brain to process. We imagine it went something like this: 'food, water, play, scratch, sleep, food, water, play, scratch, sleep, food, confusion, terror, YEEOOOW!). It seems like the people had a lot of love for the cat - though we're not really sure what the point was - so we trust it was ok in the end. What do you think? Comment below ...

1. Absolutely ridiculous and very selfish of the cat's owner. I only hope the poor little kitty didn't have a heart attack! Really makes me mad...you could see the cat was very frightened before they even jumped out. I hope PETA gets that person!

2. I agree with KLB - makes me mad too. If people want to put their lives in danger so be it..but leave out your beloved pets! That poor cat looked so scared and why wouldn't he???!! P---poor pet owners.

3. As an avid cat lover, what this man has done amounts to animal cruelty, and he deserves to be punished. It is clear when watching this video that the cat is kicking and petrified before the man jumps. People like this get their kicks from tormenting animals, not loving them. Cats want nothing more than to have a frolic in the grass, play with a ribbon, and curl up at night with their owners and purr. If this man is incapable of doing that with this cat, I'd be more than happy to.
I have 3 cats currently. Two of them when adopted did not know how to relate to humans. Now all three of them follow my daughter and I around the house or outside. They are happy to be rewarded with a scratch on the head, not being thrown out of airplanes!

4. Wow. That seems like animal cruelty to me. I mean, I think it's great that the owner was out there living life. But that cat didn't get to choose, and didn't understand what was happening to it. It must have been terrified. Makes me sad. :(

8. Wow, this is in amazement, not in a good way however. I own a cat, and anything like this is so cruel I hope if this guy reads this, he knoews what he did wrong. Seriously, to get your 12 minutes of fame, but at the price of your cat. I hope it survived, it was terrified at the jump.

10. MY ONLY HOPE IS THAT THE NEXT STOP THAT CAT'S OWNER MADE WAS TO A FOSTER HOME FOR HIS CAT WHO OBVIOUSLY NEEDS A BETTER HOME AND A MORE COMPASSIONATE OWNER.

13. I'm shocked. That poor cat was terrified and the owner didn't care. Poor things little legs were scrambling to get away from that door. How horrible. I'm sure it's poor little heart was beating out of it's chest. How cruel can a human being be to a poor defenseless creature? This man should be arrested and charged with animal cruelty. The proof that that cat was terrified is right on film. Oh my God this will give me nightmares now.

14. they should have taken the "owners" parachute and given two to the cat. What kicks could you get out of terrorizing your friend and pet????

15. What sort of lunacy was that??? The person had a choice - the cat did not. Having seen landings go wrong it is/was entirely possible for the cat to be injured or killed if its owner crushed it on landing badly - and no one is perfect 100% of the time!! I agree that this was a breach of the animal cruelty laws and should be actionable. Shame on the owner - and for the others who were dumb enough to encourage and enable this idiocy.
